Homeopathy, Reiki and Reflexology offered in Witney and Richmond
WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE
Here you will find the information you need to help you to understand the nature of homeopathy, reiki and reflexology. My homeopathy, reiki and reflexology practice draws people from the areas in and around Witney, Burford, Faringdon, Cheltenham, Oxford, Abingdon, and Swindon. I also practice homeopathy and reflexology in Richmond.
FEELING GOOD IS A NATURAL STATE
"In the healthy human state, the spirit-like life force that enlivens the material organism as dynamis, governs without restriction and keeps all parts of the organism in admirable, harmonious, vital operation, as regards both feelings and functions, so that our indwelling, rational spirit can freely avail itself of this living, healthy instrument for the higher purposes of our existence."
(Aphorism 9, Organon of the Medical Art by Dr S Hahnemann)
We have a natural inbuilt tendency to heal, called homeostasis, whether that be from physical illness, from grief and trauma, from depression or addiction. This natural tendency may be encouraged by the use of certain stepping stones which have the potential to bring about healing and the reconnection to the intuitive wisdom of our being.
I help to create room for healing as a Classical Homeopath, Reiki Practitioner and Reflexologist in a calm, quiet, confidential place at my consulting room in Witney, between Oxford, Burford, Swindon, Cheltenham, Faringdon and Abingdon. I also have a homeopathy and reflexology practice in Richmond.
For one individual healing can seem to be as simple as the disappearance of troublesome excema from the suface of their skin; for another it can be a committed life time of soul work. Very often, a patient will come to see me purely in the hope of easing an uncomfortable physical condition, and then come to realise that there are issues to be resolved on a more profound level.
People often decide to try alternative options when they have been given a diagnosis and feel the orthodox medical model has nothing left to offer them. Often, they have even been told there is “nothing to be done”, and so they lose the affirmative connection to hope (See Article "Restoration of Hope"). Other patients choose to use the methods I offer alongside medication.
Amongst the individuals who come to see me, I work as homeopath reiki practitoner and reflexologist with people recovering from drug addiction and depression; couples suffering with fertility issues; women with difficulties during pregnancy and following birth; people who are slowly weaning themselves away from long term medicated drug use; children with eczema and asthma, chronic earache/coughs, colic, night terrors, exam stress, autism or failure to thrive; people with ME, IBS, ulcerative colitis or MS; others present with migraine, back or joint pain, gynaecological and fertility/menopausal problems or insomnia; others are searching simply for a gentle way to heal the effects of trauma and family upset. The list is endless, as varied as humanity - and behind every ailment is a story waiting to be heard.
NB: Please note that homeopathy, reiki and reflexology should not be used as alternatives to seeking medical advice and I do not diagnose, treat a specific disease or illness, or interfere with prescribed medication. When symptoms indicate, I refer patients to the appropriate medical or other alternative practitioner.

MAKING ROOM FOR HEALING
"Every human being is the author of his own health or disease"

Healing is a very personal journey, as individual as you are.
The possibility of true healing begins when someone becomes just too uncomfortable in their skin or life circumstances - and then recognises that their outer symptoms are a manifestion of an imbalance within and begins to take self-responsibility - then with the aid of certain tools, transformation becomes possible.
Sometimes we can feel as if we are the victims of circumstances that surround us. Sometimes we can feel lost and empty, as if something is missing and yet can’t quite put our finger on what it is. Sometimes we can feel sensitive and over-reactive to everything in our life. We lose trust.

In truth we create our own reality by the inner response we have to those external circumstances. When we are born we have an innate understanding of true reality through our intuitive mind. Slowly, messages received by the conscious, rational, materialistic mind overrule this intuition, and the intuitive self goes to sleep. Our emotions become deadened. We become disconnected from ourselves and from the earth. We limit our own potential. We become ill.
We can then spend our lives trying to correct the difficulties we experience through the use of our rational mind alone. We constantly find ourselves seeking ways to "manage" the uncomfortable conditions we live with. We can get caught in a loop of trying and failing. We can become blocked and stuck. Or we feel as if we are always living on high alert. Or we can feel that life is out of control. Or we become hopeless and desperate. Ultimately we begin to experience the signs and symptoms of dis-ease within the the body, emotions, mind and spirit. It is this inner disturbance which is the source of illness - the outer symptoms are a call for help. And homeopathy has the ears to hear, the eyes to see and the ability to perceive the state that is being revealed; and the power to offer a resonant, dynamic medicine to aid healing.
